Sweet Chili Chicken Wraps

Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken
  • 1 lb 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • For the Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional
  • For the Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup sliced cucumber
  • Green onions or cilantro optional
  • Optional Add-Ons
  • Sriracha or chili flakes for heat
  • Creamy sauce mayo or Greek yogurt + lime

Method
 

  1. Cook the Chicken
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and slightly crispy.
  3. Add the Sauce
  4. Lower heat. Stir in sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Toss chicken until evenly coated and glossy. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
  5. Warm Wraps
  6. Warm tortillas until soft and pliable.
  7. Assemble
  8. Layer lettuce, carrots, and cucumber on each wrap. Add sweet chili chicken and garnish as desired.
  9. Serve
  10. Roll tightly and serve immediately.
