Ingredients
  

  • 2 packs ramen noodles discard seasoning packets
  • tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • For Garnish Optional
  • Sliced green onions
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Cook the Noodles
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Sauté Garlic
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add a small drizzle of sesame oil and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Combine
  8. Add cooked noodles to the skillet. Pour in the sauce and toss until evenly coated and heated through.
  9. Serve
  10. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
