Prepare Chicken
Place chicken in a skillet, slow cooker, or baking dish in a single layer.
Season
Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken. Add black pepper.
Add Butter & Peppers
Scatter butter pieces and pepperoncini peppers on top. Add pepperoncini juice if using.
Cook
Stovetop: Cover and simmer on low for 25–30 minutes.
Slow Cooker: Cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
Oven: Cover and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes.
Finish
Shred chicken if desired. Stir sauce gently. Add cream or cream cheese if using and simmer 2–3 minutes until silky.

Serve hot with your favorite sides.
