Ingredients
  

  • lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water optional, for thickening
  • Green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken in a single layer and cook until golden and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and cook for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add cornstarch slurry if needed and stir until sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
