Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add potatoes, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fork-tender. Remove and set aside.
- Increase heat to medium-high. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear until browned on all sides.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; stir until fragrant and steak is coated.
- Return potatoes to the pan and toss to combine.
- Adjust seasoning and remove from heat. Serve hot.
