Easy Grilled Cheese Burrito

Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or blend
  • 2 tbsp butter or neutral oil for grilling
  • Optional Fillings
  • ½ cup cooked rice
  • ½ cup seasoned ground beef or chicken
  • ¼ cup beans black or pinto
  • Hot sauce or chipotle sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Sprinkle cheese evenly in the center, leaving a border.
  2. Add optional fillings if using, keeping everything centered.
  3. Fold sides inward and roll tightly into burritos.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lightly butter the outside of each burrito.
  5. Place burritos seam-side down and grill 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  6. Flip carefully and grill until cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove from heat, rest 1 minute, slice, and serve warm.
