Ingredients
  

  • Noodles
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti/egg noodles
  • Vegetables
  • 2 carrots julienned
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms or bell peppers optional
  • Sauce
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • Aromatics
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp vegetable or avocado oil
  • Optional Protein
  • Chicken beef, shrimp, tofu (pre-cooked or thinly sliced)

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  4. Add vegetables and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Add cooked noodles and prepared sauce to the skillet. Toss quickly to coat evenly.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
