Assemble
Arrange bread slices snugly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Make custard
Whisk eggs, cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
Soak
Pour custard evenly over bread. Press gently to submerge.
Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Bake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
Brûlée
Sprinkle sugar evenly over the top. Broil or torch until caramelized.
Serve
Let the sugar set for 2–3 minutes, then serve warm.
