Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Sauté Garlic
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook gently until fragrant.
Make the Sauce
Pour in cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
Add Cheese
Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
Combine
Add pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
Finish & Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
