Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls

Ingredients
  

  • Garlic Bread Bowls
  • 4 round bread rolls or small sourdough loaves
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley optional
  • Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella optional, extra cheesy

Method
 

  1. Prepare bread bowls
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice tops off bread and hollow centers, leaving sturdy walls. Mix melted butter with garlic and parsley, brush inside and out. Bake 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Cook chicken
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. Make Alfredo sauce
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan (and mozzarella if using) until smooth and creamy.
  7. Combine
  8. Add cooked chicken to the Alfredo sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  9. Fill & bake
  10. Spoon Alfredo chicken into bread bowls. Bake 8–10 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  11. Serve
  12. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
