Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • teaspoons Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper for extra heat
  • ½ cup cooked chicken or shrimp

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning and black pepper to bloom the spices.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer (do not boil).
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and thick.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or additional Cajun spice.
  7. Serve immediately over pasta or protein of choice.
