Ingredients
  

  • 1 prepared angel food cake store-bought or homemade
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • teaspoons ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Cut the Cake
  2. Cut angel food cake into 1–1½ inch bite-size cubes.
  3. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar
  4. In a shallow bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon until combined. Set aside.
  5. Melt Butter
  6. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Crisp the Cake Bites
  8. Add cake cubes in a single layer. Cook, turning gently, until all sides are lightly golden and crisp.
  9. Coat with Cinnamon Sugar
  10. While warm, transfer bites to the cinnamon sugar mixture and toss gently to coat.
  11. Serve Warm
  12. Let rest for 2 minutes, then serve immediately.
